Presenting Myself: Communicating Interculturally is a one-day training seminar for university students who are preparing to take part in international exchange programmes. If you are fluent in English or another foreign language but uncertain whether in your new academic environment you would be able to communicate as comfortably as you are able to do that at Sofia University, join us on Saturday, 10th May from 9.00 to 16.00 (venue to be announced close to the time) The seminar is practice-oriented and focuses on the importance of self-presentation and identity in the context of academic studies abroad and intercultural situations you are likely to encounter while away from home. You develop strategies to set self-presentation goals and achieve them successfully, as well as gain confidence and communication competences. The seminar will be led by Dr Leah Davcheva of Aha Moments. Required level of written and spoken English for participation in the workshop: upper-intermediate / advanced.
