WORKING WITH THE TEAM OF “ANDI AND AYA”, ACADEMY FOR CHILDREN FROM THE DEAF COMMUNITY
This year, I have begun regular and consistent work with the team of teachers and specialists from the Academy for deaf children. Previously, I have had several encounters with these people, and our interactions have paved the way for openness and ease. The following thematic directions for action are now emerging:
(1) Opportunities and challenges for the team spirit of togetherness
(2) Further developing the Academy as a social enterprise: sustainability and growth.
Methods and format of work are based on the practices of Solution-Focused approaches and Host Leadership, and include team and individual coaching sessions, work with the children’s parents, seminars for experts in the field, and collaboration with schools that are introducing sign language education.
